My name is Dana Gallea. I was raised by wonderful parents who taught me that dogs are members of a family and deserve respect as we do. I began taking interest in dog training as a child, and I have been passionately training dogs ever since!
As a Head Trainer for K9 Principles, I have the pleasure of overseeing and teaching the obedience classes at the Hamilton Burlington SPCA.
I have designed a program to prepare dogs for Service Dog testing. My mentor, Kelly Robbins, has taken my training abilities to an entire new level. I cannot thank Kelly enough for all her continued support and knowledge!
Dog walking has always been a part of my daily lifestyle. I enjoy watching the enjoyment that dogs have while out and about on their adventures with me.
I thoroughly enjoy helping when there is a dog in need. I have assisted the Aarf Rescue by fostering and training multiple dogs. I used sign language and positive reinforcement to train Lilah, a Deaf Argentine DoGo. I have also taught obedience to a Doberman with behavioral issues. Both dogs have been adopted and are living in their forever home.
