Welcome to K9 Enhancements Inc.!
We offer Boarding and Board & Train Programs based out of our family home.
We developed our program to help dog owners like you! We know that having a new dog or puppy requires a lot of time and dedication. We also understand that bringing a new pet into your home can be challenging at times. Some dogs/puppies can have behavioural issues that can be very frustrating to try and resolve! Behaviours such as jumping, biting, leash pulling, leash reactivity, doorbell reactivity, and even counter surfing to name a few. These bad habits can certainly cause tension and even discouragement in a household. Especially when you are constantly on the run!
Our program is as simple as 1-2-3!
1. We begin with discussing your pets personality, behaviours, history and any health issues your dog/puppy may have. We will review what our program offers, discuss the areas of training you would like us to focus on, the amount of time needed, and any concerns you may have. We can target a variety of issues such as crate training, house breaking, jumping, mouthing, sit stay, recalls and a lot more! You decide!
2. Then, your K9 companion joins our family for a staycation! Each day we work on basic obedience training with your dog/puppy. We train using only positive reinforcement. We use treats, toys, games, lots of verbal praise and a clicker. In addition, your dog/puppy will join us on daily walks, enjoy playtime, and loads of cuddles! Twice a week we travel and socialize your dog/puppy with the general public! We enjoy socializing our 4 legged clients by visiting a variety of retail stores including PetSmart and Home Depot!
3. Once the training is completed, we will review all that your dog/puppy has learned and explain how to continue practicing at home!
